Early Evening Jazz: Sonic Dream

Sonic Dream is known for its “hip retooling” (Star Tribune) of pop songs by artists from Elvis to Dua Lipa. They have been called “fabulous…one of the Twin Cities’ best” by the Dakota Jazz Club and a “fusion [band] in the best sense of the word” by Twin Cities Blues News. Composed of three veterans of the Twin Cities music scene—Jeff Perry on guitar, Bob Johnston on drums, and Matt Blake on upright bass—they combine their experience in playing soul, rock, jazz, and reggae into one cool, smooth Sonic Dream sound.
