Peter Kogan was Principal Timpani of the Minnesota Orchestra for 29 years and a veteran of the symphonies of Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Honolulu. His years working as a drummer in New York City included backing up Blues greats Lightnin’ Hopkins and Jimmy Witherspoon, the big band of Larry Elgart and many others.
He has released 3 CDs of original jazz and will be introducing 3 new compositions at this event – with these stellar musicians:
